Also known as Mother-in-law's tongue or a snake plant, the Sanseveira plant is a survivor! It requires very little maintenance and has stunningly tall foliage in striped shades of green and yellow.

You'll often find Sanseveira plants in the bedrooms of many homes and that's because they're considered beneficial to human health! Many air-purifying plants release carbon-dioxide at night in the abscene of sunlight but the Sanseveira produces oxygen at all hours which make it ideal for bedroom spaces.

Although the plant is easy to maintain it grows best in bright but scattered light but is is also tolerant to some shade too. Like most succulents, water well every 3 weeks or so, when the top couple of inches of soil start to feel dry. It's best to water from the bottom, by allowing the plant to sit on a tray of water to soak up water for around 10 minutes.

This plant can be toxic, so keep it away from pets.
